Speakeasy Announce 4th Consecutive Year Trade Profit
(CEO Sets Customer Growth Target)
Speakeasy Communications Ltd (Speakeasy), the leading provider of Mobile and PC calling services, announced today that it traded its business to profitability for a fourth consecutive year with profits of £76,979 for the year ending 2010.
Speakeasy CEO and Founder, Mark J. Stewart said, “I am very pleased with the continued strong customer uptake with 30,000 active customers now using Speakeasy in developing markets as well as a new series of orders back here in the UK”.
He continued, “These are tough economic times and the Speakeasy Mobile service and PC Phone are increasingly attractive to business and consumer users as our customers are much more cost conscious when making international calls”.
Speakeasy Communications Ltd has seen strong uptake in its Speakeasy Mobile service with top up revenues making the majority of its traded gross margin. Speakeasy PC Phone usage has spread to developing markets but there has also been renewed uptake here in the U.K.
Mark Stewart continued, “We expect to further develop our Speakeasy communications services customer base here in the UK and globally on a multi national basis and today I can announce that we have set an internal objective to reach and exceed a 100,000 consumer customer target by the end of 2012”.
